Vibrant Yubang, Grateful to Walk Together – Team Building & Family Day Event
Oct 07,2020
To boost team morale, strengthen team cohesion, enhance a sense of belonging to the team, cultivate the team’s capacity for reflection, and build sincere, trusting, understanding, and tolerant team relationships—while also taking advantage of the holiday to spend time with family and immerse ourselves in nature, appreciating the colors of the four seasons and experiencing an authentic, traditional farming lifestyle... On a warm autumn day, filled with good spirits, we set off for the picturesque Yangcheng Lake畔 Cultivation and Study Garden, beginning our wonderful journey.

First, led by our handsome facilitator, we broke the ice through icebreaker games such as “Challenge the Rabbit Dance,” “Peach Blossoms Bloom,” and “Passing Through A4 Paper,” helping everyone understand what teamwork and responsibility truly mean.

The upcoming jungle trek was both tense and thrilling—somewhat like the journey of our own lives, with smooth stretches as well as steep slopes, flat plains as well as treacherous rapids. As long as we remain patient, optimistic, and boldly courageous when we encounter difficulties, once we’ve overcome them, we’ll realize that if you give up halfway, even rotten wood won’t break; but if you persist relentlessly, even hard stone can be carved. The greater the resistance, the greater the motivation. Aren’t the difficulties we’ve faced just now a precious treasure for ourselves?

In the real-life CS combat, the “gunfire” of field warfare echoed through the jungle, allowing us to truly experience the thrill of “realistic jungle combat.” Through role-playing and team collaboration, we made full use of the terrain—hiding, lying prone, launching surprise attacks, and charging forward. The variety of tactical maneuvers made us feel as if we were right there in the thick of it. The battlefield reverberated with intense simulated gunshots and the shouts of everyone charging into battle... While enjoying the fun, we also deeply realized the message behind this activity: the importance of teamwork and cohesion in accomplishing our mission.

During the warm-up session before this afternoon’s aquarium meeting, the Rainbow Stick game helped everyone understand the importance of strategy and tactics—whether to passively wait or proactively take action—and tested everyone’s reaction speed. In the subsequent process-and-transportation segment, everyone worked hard toward the common goal; each team member’s diligent effort in their own task was the greatest support they could offer to the team.

The “fish tank” activity officially kicked off the meeting. Led by General Xiao, each participant took turns stepping into the circle as a “fish,” receiving sincere feedback from their team members—“the water.” Through efficient communication and self-awareness, everyone refrained from making excuses and remained fully attentive, thanking each feedback giver for their insights. This approach enabled everyone to let go of defensiveness and open their hearts. It was precisely because each individual put aside their ego, wholeheartedly committed themselves to the team, and treated every teammate with genuine sincerity that they were able to help one another gain clarity about their own behaviors and their impact on other departments. As a result, departmental barriers were effectively broken down, allowing information within the company to flow freely.

While the meeting here is in full swing, the family members over there are keeping busy too. In this tranquil countryside, vast greenhouses brim with organic vegetables—nutrient-rich cucumbers, napa cabbage, and chives. Digging sweet potatoes, catching chickens, fishing, and husking corn—this idyllic rural lifestyle doesn’t even require traveling far away...

The little family members were especially thrilled—crafting their own handmade snow-skin mooncakes with great anticipation and heartfelt excitement. That’s how green tea, chocolate, and blueberry snow-skin mooncakes came to life. In the afternoon, led by our lovely HR lady, the kids made egg tarts, grilled sausages, painted plaster figures, strung heart-shaped beads, and played ring toss games—leaving the children absolutely ecstatic!

The evening’s joyful barbecue kicked off with a dazzling light show, featuring mouthwatering roasted whole lamb that was sure to whet everyone’s appetite. As we savored the delicacies lovingly prepared by our friends…
The subsequent bonfire party brought the event to a thrilling climax. The Happy Rabbit Dance, the Forest Adventure, and the Musical Chairs game were all tense yet exciting; the group birthday cake was warm and filled with love; and the little family members even received their very own exclusive gifts.
