Since the beginning of this year, in the face of the adverse impacts brought by sporadic outbreaks of the pandemic, Wuzhong District has coordinated epidemic prevention and control with economic and social development, adhering to the guiding principle of prioritizing stability while seeking progress within stability. It has actively stabilized production and ensured supply, provided support to enterprises, and made every effort to stabilize the development of the real economy. Meanwhile, a large number of private enterprises, together with the municipal and district Party committees and governments, have pressed ahead despite difficulties and thrived against the odds. While firmly upholding the bottom line of epidemic prevention and control, they have steadily resumed work and production, making significant contributions to the smooth operation of the economy.
In response to the questions and concerns raised by everyone, the relevant departments will carefully study each issue, conduct thorough assessments one by one, and make every effort to resolve them, thereby helping enterprises reach full production capacity, achieve tangible results, and grow stronger. Before the meeting
Gu Haidong and his delegation visited Suzhou Yubang New Materials Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Shengsu New Drug Development Co., Ltd. They inspected the companies’ core products on-site, listened to briefings from relevant officials on the technological advantages and R&D progress of these products, and encouraged the companies to continue accelerating their pace of intelligent transformation and digitalization, deepen their upstream and downstream industrial chain integration, attract and retain more high-caliber, specialized talents, and further enhance the added value and core competitiveness of their products.
